2011
I was recently awarded an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant from the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City! I will be using grant funds to modify my home studio for year-round use and for the installation of kiln wiring in order to use a donated kiln. Please visit ArtsKC on the web at www.artskc.org.

"Perceptions of Time: Examining the Past, Present & Future" at the Cocoon Gallery in the Arts Incubator building, Kansas City. Opening reception Friday, December 3, 6-9pm.

"Viva La Vida" Exhibition at La Esquina, Urban Culture Project/Charlotte Street Foundation Gallery, 1000 West 25th Street, Kansas City. Opening reception Friday, June 4, 6-10pm.

My studio with the Charlotte Street Foundation's Urban Culture Project Studio Residency Program has moved to pARTnership Place at 906 Grand through August. Studios are open for visitors every 3rd Friday from 6-9pm (closed July and August). Visit www.charlottestreet.org for more information.

Februrary 19 - March 5 EXTENDED -- Exit, a temporary outdoor installation about youth homelessness in Oppenstein Park, 12th and Walnut, part of Cumulus Exhibition. The project is composed of two life size figure sculptures made of unfired clay, which will be extremely vulnerable to the harsh weather conditions and to public interaction, similar to what a real person would be exposed to in such circumstances.
